Mark West and Lyndon Garbutt established West Garbutt with a view to providing high quality, responsive and trusted tax advice to clients, including other Chartered Accountants and lawyers in need of specialist taxation advice and support. The firm’s founders, Mark West and Lyndon Garbutt, are each qualified as Lawyers, Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers. Tax can be complicated and overwhelming. We use our expertise in accounting, law and specifically tax law to help clients with difficult issues and situations to provide guidance and identify solutions. Our aim is not just to resolve the immediate issues at hand, but to consider these in a broader context so as to build long lasting relationships of trust. We have many years of experience advising high net wealth families, businesses, non-profit organisations and their advisors on a broad range of taxes including income tax, capital gains tax, GST, payroll tax and land tax.
