Render Q is SCAD’s student-run digital media publication. Founded in May 2019, and relaunched in 2021, the publication seeks to be a hub of inspiration and networking for creative professionals who work in the fields of animation, motion media, visual effects, interactive technology and game development, and immersive reality. The publication is produced by SCAD’s office of student media, which also publishes District, SCAD Radio, The Manor, Port City Review and The HoneyDripper. Render Q welcomes submissions by currently enrolled students. The publication is led by three student editors, who are selected each spring through an application and interview process.
