Status Code 4 Inc. was created following the numerous reports of First Responder suicides across the United States and Canada. SC4I is in the unique position to intimately understand the stressors associated with being a First Responder. The results of these stressors contribute to a vast number of issues. These issues include depression, anxiety, PTSI, Compassion Fatigue, divorce, domestic violence, and substance abuse. The mission of Status Code 4 Inc. (SC4I) is to provide trauma healing counseling and mental wellness educational services to First Responders and their family members. First Responders are civilian and military members who perform law enforcement, fire fighter, emergency medical, dispatch and other emergency services. We envision a world where our first responders are strengthened through healthy leaders and a network of friends, family, and professionals in a community that provides all the necessary supports to build and maintain healthy mental resilience.
